Connie and Luke wed at Houston Station in Nashville, Tennessee at a simple, rustic ceremony. Family and friends of the bride and groom helped make their wedding special by adding lots of DIY touches like unique place cards and homemade centerpieces.

The cupcake toppers were small figurine versions of the bride and groom. These main cupcakes were showcased out front on a block of wood.
The couple chose cupcakes as opposed to a wedding cake. The cupcakes had adorable toothpick signs with the newlyweds' initials and wedding date.
The bride wore a beautiful pair of peep-toe shoes from DSW with an elegant ruffled toe for the wedding.
The bride and groom entered the reception while gold balloons were released around the room for a fun and whimsical entrance.
Luke's boutonniere had some small bright orange flowers with leafy greens, tied at the stem with twine.
The ceremony decorations were simple yet elegant. Lights were strung above the wooden and brick site and on tree branches on either side of the altar. Vases with branches and twigs lined the aisle, tied with orange ribbon, giving the entire ceremony a rustic feeling.
The invitations were printed by Designs in Paper and featured cute little cartoon figures of the bride and the groom.
The place cards were handmade by Rachel Hanson, the bride's maid of honor. They were little paper cootie catchers, with the name of the guest as well as the same little cartoon figures of the bride and groom that were on the invitations.
The centerpieces on the tables were made up of orange and white flowers that were purchased wholesale and bundled by the bride and groom. Accompanying the centerpieces on the tables were candles set on pieces of wood and mason jars to drink from.
Connie's bridesmaids carried bright orange thin bouquets with just a few single gerbera daisies tied with twine around the stems.
