A Heritage-Inspired Wedding at Rocabella Hotel in Santorini, Greece

This waterfront wedding at Rocabella Hotel in Santorini, Greece,  drew inspiration from the bride’s Chinese heritage and the groom’s Greek roots. The romantic ceremony overlooked the Aegean Sea, and a simple white kiosk framed the couple without blocking ocean views. Handmade porcelain vases in chinoiserie motifs showed off red, pink and yellow flowers. The bride’s bouquet complemented the arrangements, and her ivory Galia Lahav gown had hand-beaded detailing and a mermaid fit. The wedding’s Chinese motif continued at the reception, where hanging silk fabric lanterns created ambient lighting. “Custom details included fine tableware in deep blue tones inspired by the colors of the Aegean Sea,” the wedding planner says. A dessert table presented a variety of sweet treats, including a tiered white wedding cake with intricate blue details.

Our favorite #MakeTradition “After exchanging vows, the couple was sent off by friends and family showered in love and delicate rose petals,” the wedding planner says.
