After over 16 years of friendship, Tara and Ryan exchanged vows center stage at The Henry Ford Museum under a canopy of hanging upside down flowers. The theatre ceremony was followed a contemporary reception mixing sparkle accents with a modern color palette of charcoal, white and contrasting pops of red.

The couple selected a contemporary white and silver fondant cake with an initial topper. The very top layered looked like it was rolled in silver sequence and there were flower petals bursting out of the middle, Tara says.
The tented escort cards were printed on chrome stationery with an oversized red number. Ten white flower balls in different sizes displayed at different heights decorated the table along with candles at varying levels.
Tara and Ryan were married on stage under a canopy of flowers that hung upside down with large candles lining the stage.
Tara and Ryan filled their museum reception with both square and round tables set with charcoal gray linens, silver chargers, chrome vases and white flowers, silver chiavari chairs with black cushions along with bold red napkins and water goblets.
Chrome vases held a bundle of white hydrangeas dripping with crystals.
Tara's bridesmaids matched in charcoal, one-shoulder Jim Hjelm gowns with a flower accent. Finding a dress that all ten girls would wear was one of the more stressful parts of the wedding planning! Tara says. In the end they looked like they should've been walking the red carpet instead of down the wedding aisle.
Tara and Ryan's nephew (1 year old Braxton) went down the aisle in a child's battery operated car.
Tara glowed in a dropped waist, Justin Alexander ball gown with an organza ruffle skirt, strapless bodice, sweetheart neckline and flower beading. She had her mother's veil incorporated into an extra two layers of her finger tip veil with sparkle accents.
