A Greenery-Filled, Classic Wedding at Arranmore Farm & Polo Club in Oswego, Illinois

Borrowing cues from Kate and Will’s royal wedding, Jessica Sommesi (31 and a small business owner) and Billy Kennedy (32 and an asphalt lab engineer)

Borrowing cues from Kate and Will’s royal wedding, Jessica Sommesi (31 and a small business owner) and Billy Kennedy (32 and an asphalt lab engineer) wed in a timeless affair marked by leafy arrangements and a refined palette of gray and green. “I loved my dress for its simplicity and unavoidable ‘wow’ factor,” Jessica says of the silk design. With a verdant, leather-wrapped arrangement in hand, the bride walked down the aisle to wed Billy in her childhood church. “I wanted to make an impression on guests by making their eyes, ears and stomachs happy,” Jessica says of her sophisticated design approach that included a focus on décor, music and food. Surrounded by 300 acres of pristine green grounds, guests enjoyed Moscow mules in the on-site horse stables before moving to a tent on the lawn to continue the celebration. Clusters of magnolia leaves topped dining tables, where partygoers enjoyed charcuterie and, of course, giardiniera (an Italian relish).
