A Green and Gold Wedding at Paradise Cove Orlando in Orlando, Florida

Talk about natural! Emily Han (30 and in nursing education) and Tommy Pun (40 and in communications) based their entire green, gold and white wedding on the Paradise Cove Orlando and its landscapes. “We wanted a venue that was outdoors and full of greenery, yet felt intimate,” Emily says. “Paradise Cove had a great ceremony backdrop with Cypress trees as well as a beautiful patio with lush landscaping and fun lighting.” The planners at Areum Event helped highlight each space with complementary decor. They had organic arrangements of eucalyptus, hydrangeas and even king proteas span from the waterfront wedding arch to the centerpieces on their gold sequin-covered tables. What really stood out, however, were Emily and Tommy’s personal touches. Their longtime friend presided over the heartfelt ceremony, while another friend, DJ Kevy Kev, kept everyone on the dance floor for the reception. The couple also made sure guests felt appreciated with handmade chalkboard entrance signs and DIY personalized succulent wedding favors on each plate.
