Gina Ferriero (28) met Ryan Harden (30) through mutual friends. Although they both weren't ready for a relationship when they met, they couldn't let each other out of sight. A year later, they began dating. "Having the strong foundation of friendship allowed us to be ourselves from the beginning without having to worry about impressions or dating games," says Gina. Ryan proposed to Gina at halftime during a Notre Dame hockey game, while they were participating in a trivia game on the local news. A crowd of thousands at the hockey game as well as a TV audience watching at home cheered Ryan on as he asked for Gina's hand in marriage. Gina and Ryan's wedding was equally as grand and romantic as their proposal. Their wedding festivities took place at the Landsowne Resort in Leesburg, Virginia. With the help of Laura Ritchie from Events in the City DC, they created a stylish and chic wedding with a color palette of black, white, gold and blush. The large ballroom at Landsowne was draped with blush linens to make the room feel more intimate, and crystal chandeliers hung over the canopied, checkered dance floor. Guests could take a break from dancing at the lounge area by the dance floor, which had modern couches with blush, black and white throw pillows and gold tables. Abundant floral arrangements of blush and ivory roses, peonies, hydrangeas and tulips and floating candles decorated an array of tablescapes in black, white and gold. Gina and Ryan's wedding had so man gorgeous details that it's hard to pick a favorite, and their event took the definition of "glam" to the next level.

Gina wore a strapless, mermaid style wedding dress by Allure, which featured beading in the bodice and a full tulle skirt. She extended her train by four feet to complement the length of the church aisle.

Gina's bridesmaids looked beautiful in floor length black gowns with off the shoulder beaded cap sleeves. They carried bouquets of pink roses and dusty miller.

Gina carried a bouquet of blush and ivory roses, peonies and greens that was wrapped in a black and white striped ribbon.
Gina and Ryan were married at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Ashburn, Virginia. Gina wore a cathedral veil for the traditional Catholic ceremony.

The huge ballroom at Landsowne Resort was draped in blush linens to make it more intimate. Crystal chandeliers were hung above the dance floor, which had its own canopy.
Lounge seating by the dance floor was provided in the form of curved modern couches with pink and black and white throw pillows.
The reception was uplit with white light against the blush backdrops, and light shone from crystal lamp centerpieces.
