A Gothic Elegance Wedding at The Henry Hotel in Dearborn, Michigan
Jeanna Wagner (27 and a women's health nurse practitioner) and Michael Mastracci (27 and a construction manager) met when her brother and his sister graduated medical school together, and began dating a year later. Jeanna is well known for being a hard person to surprise but much to her delight, Michael was able to catch her off guard with his champagne and rose, backyard proposal. The ceremony was held in an old church with stain glass windows that filled the area with an atmosphere of old gothic romance. The Henry Hotel, where the reception was held, maintained this dark beautiful air with decor of black, white, gold and silver. The walls were covered in immaculate artwork and highly detailed chandeliers hung over the dance floor. Tables were covered with silk cloths and a variation of 3 different centerpieces. Tall ivory flowers stood amidst each one, draped in crystals and surrounded by different sized candles. During dinner, guests were treated to passed wine service followed by a beautiful 6 layer cake and an 11-piece live band. As a special thank you, Jeanna and Michael made pre-packaged s'mores for all of their guests to roast at the s'mores bar between dancing.
