A Glitzy, Turquoise and Purple Wedding at The Links in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Julia Williams (21 and an operations manager) and Jonathan Andrews (22 and a sales and marketing specialist) met in church when they were young children. As they grew up together, they began to like each other. Sadly, their nascent romance came to an abrupt end when Julia's parents discovered the locket Jonathan gave her for her 13th birthday, after which Julia and Jonathan drifted apart. They reconnected at Julia's graduation trip to Lake Anna. Jonathan had been invited by Julia's brother. Jonathan stayed an extra day just so he could continue talking to Julia. Three weeks later, Jonathan asked Julia to be his date to her own brother's wedding, and the two began dating. Jonathan believes that the timing was God's plan. He proposed to Julia a year and a half later on Christmas Eve by asking her to get something from the trunk of the car. When Julia opened the trunk, she found the rose gold engagement rings. She turned around to see Jonathan proposing to her. Julia and Jonathan were married at The Links at Gettysburg. The ceremony was held outside on a terrace overlooking the golf course. The reception was "bling" themed, with a turquoise and purple color scheme. The flowers included white and purple hydrangeas, mini Picasso calla lilies, white lilies, white roses and dyed blue bom dendrobium orchids. Julia's wore a beaded, trumpet gown with a beaded veil and rhinestone accessories, which she paired with turquoise pumps. The groom and groomsmen wore gray suits with turquoise ties, and the bridesmaids wore turquoise dresses. Julia and Jonathan's wedding was colorful and fun, with a beautiful golf course serving as its backdrop.
