A Glamorous Winter Wedding at Park Hyatt Hotel in Washington, DC

From the all-white ballroom ceremony and reception to the sparkly rhinestone wedding shoes, everything about Joan Peugh (29 and in consulting and financial advisory) and Jonathan Mayer’s (32 and in real estate) winter wedding at the Park Hyatt Hotel was glamourous. The bridesmaid dresses were silver, the cake was decorated with silver dragees and all of the flowers were white and accented with mirrored vases and floating candles. Mercury glass vases and mossy greenery added unexpected texture to the arrangements. In the ballroom, blue up-lighting and oversized crystal chandeliers just added to their style. "The space was modern and classy and definitely not a boring ballroom," Joan says. Joan looked the part in a ball gown with a rhinestone belt and a simple veil and fur stole while Jon looked classic in a black tuxedo. While the two didn’t hire a wedding planner per se, they worked together with the Park Hyatt to bring their wedding vision to life. Eli Turner Studios photographed the entire day.
