Sarah Stafford (24 and a marketing manager) and Phillip Parrish (25 and in human services) met at a collegiate tennis match. They had grown up in the same area playing tennis but they had never met. After they started dating, Sarah's mother found an old newspaper clipping about Sarah's achievements in tennis. When she flipped it over, she found a clip about Phillip playing tennis on the other side. "It was meant to be," Sarah says. The couple was married at Dover Hall Estate in Manakin-Sabot, Virginia. Their winter wedding was glitzy and glamorous with a color palette of ivory, gold and soft pink. "My parents and friends have always called me a princess and that's exactly what I envisioned for my wedding day," Sarah says. Sarah and Phillip had a gorgeous ceremony in the grand hall at the mansion, which had beautiful candelabra chandeliers, hardwood floors and a huge mantle by which they said their vows. Sarah came down the aisle in a lace mermaid style wedding dress while her bridesmaids wore floor length dresses with cowl necklines in a shimmery silver. Phillip and his groomsmen wore traditional black tuxedos with bow ties. Guests dined on tables adorned with glittery gold tablecloths and flower arrangements of soft pink roses and white hydrangeas. "We made sure we took part in every little detail on our wedding day, and we're so happy we did because it really reflected our style and personality."

Sarah's engagement ring was a square pave diamond ring with a halo and an encrusted band. Her wedding band was also encrusted with diamonds.
Sarah wore a lace mermaid style wedding dress that was strapless with a sweetheart neckline. The dress featured an embellished belt at the waist and beading throughout the bodice. Sarah bought her dress at Caryn's Bridals & Formals in Farmville, Virginia.
Sarah wore ivory Badgley Mischka heels with silver and white embroidery on her wedding day.
The bridesmaids wore floor length dresses in shimmery silver fabric. The dresses featured cowl necklines.
Phillip and the groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos to the mansion wedding. Phillip wore a white bow tie to distinguish himself.
"If I had to pick a special moment from our wedding day, it would be our first look," Sarah says. "Being able to capture our love that we have for each other every day was so special."
Sarah carried a bouquet with pink, peach and ivory roses, dusty miller and silver brunia. She wore a fur stole to her winter celebration.
