A 'Midsummer Night's Dream'-Inspired Wedding at Tribeca Rooftop in New York City
We love this modern take on "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in New York City. Lindsey Nazzaro (32 and a director of sales) and John Shankman (32 and an entrepreneur) wanted to create a magical night for their guests to celebrate their nuptials. "We wanted a clean look with tons of white flowers, candles and natural light," Lindsey says. There was no lack of natural light at their evening ceremony at Tribeca Rooftop, which boasted incredible views of downtown New York City. The ceremony aisle on the terrace was lined with vases of floating white dendrobium orchids, and these same orchids hung from the large chuppah that was covered in lush greenery. The escort-card display was also covered in greenery to create a whimsical, forest-inspired look. At the reception, the loft-style space featured chic gray dining tables topped with tall, dome-shaped arrangements of white orchids and hanging amaranthus that looked modern and romantic. The wedding-party look perfectly matched the wedding's breathtaking style. The bridesmaids wore floor-length gray chiffon Jenny Yoo dresses and carried fresh white lisianthus bouquets. Lindsey wore a stunning Reem Accra wedding dress with intricate beading in the bodice and an edgy ball-gown skirt. The men in the wedding party contrasted the soft, flowing dresses with structured tuxedos and formal bow ties.
