Ashley Sugg and Austin Bider met in their third year of college at Texas State through a mutual friend, and went out on their first date a week later. Five and a half years later, Austin surprised Ashley with a trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and proposed on the beach before a private dinner. The couple chose to be married in the Texas Hill Country, and The Terrace Club in Dripping Springs, Texas provided a gorgeous view of the landscape for their outdoor ceremony. "I went with a soft color palette because our wedding was in the spring and it fit our personal style," says Ashley. She wore an elegant Jenny Packham dress with an embellished neckline and empire waist and a full scalloped skirt. The couple carefully considered every detail to make their wedding comfortable and fun for their guests, especially the food. Dinner was a macaroni and cheese station, where guests could add different toppings to their dish; it was a huge hit.The wedding cake had three different tiers of flavor combinations: vanilla with vanilla, chocolate with Heath bar crunch, and cookie dough with vanilla. The groom's cake was a whimsical tribute to the 90s hit television show "Saved by the Bell," complete with Zack's infamous cell phone. "The whole event reflected us as a couple because we both put so much personal thought into it," says Ashley.
