A Glamorous, Rustic Wedding at Casa Marina in Key West, Florida

Monika Moreno (25 and owner of Swankey Events) and Andrew Toppino (27 and a contractor) went for the epitome of rustic glam for their wedding, and they planned it all in just three months. They even paired the celebration with a few personal accents, including the location. “I knew I wanted an indoor venue that represented us, so Casa Marina was a perfect fit," Monika says. "As a wedding planner, I have done several weddings there. I knew that the staff and venue were top-notch, so it wasn't much of a decision.” After a traditional ceremony with natural arrangements and a waterfront cocktail hour, Monika and Andrew joined their guests for a gorgeous ballroom reception. Every family-style wooden table was covered with votive candles, burlap and gold sequin runners. Some even had these lush arrangements of gold branches and white flowers in tall trumpet-style vases. But as Monika and Andrew put it, the most important part was the entertainment. “From the beginning of the planning process, I knew I wanted live entertainment.
