Brigitte Shannon (33, a Teacher) and Alain Nadon (30, a Heavy Duty Mechanic) met in December 2007 through Brigitte's cousin. Five years later Alain proposed (with their five month old son) on Christmas morning. The couple had a traditional Catholic wedding at the Ste-Felicite Church with a reception at the Knights of Columbus in Ontario. The wedding theme had a glamorous, sophisticated look, with a black and white color palette with pops of red. "The hall was decorated in black, white and red. We had white and black backdrops with damask ribbons to hold them. The tables were covered with black tablecloths and a damask runner. The chairs were covered in black with red ribbons," Brigitte describes.

Bright red heels added a pop of color to Brigitte's bridal style.
