A Glamorous, Natural Wedding at Willows on Westfield in Indianapolis, Indiana

The wedding of Whitney Kent (25 and in sales) and Andrew Fuchs (25 and a certified public accountant) was a modern twist on an enchanted forest. With a palette of blush, metallic gray, ivory and green, they used organic details to turn the hall at the Willows on Westfield in Indianapolis, Indiana, into a magical woodland. Tall branches arranged with hydrangeas and hanging amaranthus decorated textured metallic tables, and table numbers had mossy frames. Place settings featured ornate silver charges with peach ribbons, and each seat had an intricate menu in calligraphy. As an added touch, the mantel behind the head table was lined with candles and above it, votive candles and amaranthus hung from an arrangement of branches. The wedding-party style perfectly matched the decor. The bridesmaids wore airy floor-length dresses in gray tulle and carried bouquets of blush roses, white ranunculus and succulents. Andrew dressed in a modern black tuxedo with an ivory vest and an ivory bow tie. And Whitney's wedding dress was a gorgeous blush Sarah Janks gown with intricate beading and a tiered skirt. She donned a long veil for the outdoor ceremony, but Mother Nature had other plans. Mid-ceremony, it started to pour. "We knew we were in trouble when the temperature dropped and the wind picked up, but we couldn't help but laugh," Whitney says. "Running with all our guests to get inside will be our favorite memory." Whitney and Andrew finished their vows on the dance floor, and Whitney traded her veil for a regal eucalyptus-leaf crown for the candlelit reception. Conforti Photography captured the day.
