A Glamorous Loft Wedding at the Metropolitan Building in Queens, New York

Tiffany Vastion (29 and a sales executive) and Donte Jones (30 and a banker) fashioned their wedding as a love letter to New York, the place they met. “This is the city where we fell in love,” Tiffany says. To honor that, the pair incorporated a gold foil illustration of the Brooklyn Bridge into their stationery.  Before shifting the celebration across the East River and getting the party started in Long Island City, high school sweethearts Tiffany and Donte wed at their local Harlem church, where the couple walked alongside a custom ceremony runner emblazoned with their wedding logo. The couple knew what they wanted in a reception venue, and they found it in a former booking factory. "We were looking for a raw space with character and a vintage feel,” Tiffany says. For an elevated formal aesthetic, the pair added regal décor and glamorous gold touches to their reception in the historic Queens structure. There, the newlyweds danced to Beyoncé’s “1 + 1” and indulged in Oreo cheesecake and signature champagne cocktails.
