A Glamorous, Intimate Wedding at the Front Porch in Leonardtown, Maryland

Kendall Ramos (28, program analyst) and Ronald Ramos (31, nuclear officer) had been dating for some time when they bought their first house together. They had spent the whole week painting the house and getting ready to move in furniture when Ronald convinced Kendall to take a break and go to dinner with some friends. When Kendall returned from dinner, Ronald led her blindfolded to the beachfront and surprised her with a fence covered in pictures of the couple together. He proposed to her, and afterwards they celebrated with all their friends at their new home. Kendall and Ronald had an intimate wedding in Leonardtown, Maryland. Their ceremony at the Leonardtown wharf was officiated by Kendall’s mother. They treated their guests to a champagne toast by the waterfront after the ceremony. Kendall and Ronald borrowed a friend’s 1956 Chevy Bel Air as their getaway car, which went with their glamorous theme. The reception was held at The Front Porch, a local restaurant that the couple frequently visit. Decor was kept classic and elegant, with flower arrangements of white roses and white hydrangeas. Kendall wore an unconventional and stunning gold sequined Badgley Mischka dress which she got from Rent the Runway. She also carried a Kate Spade clutch which looked like a license plate and read “MRANDMRS.” Ronald wore a navy blue suit from Express Men with a peacock boutonniere made by Kendall. All their desserts were from local vendors, with whoopie pies from the local Amish farm and the chocolate cake and cupcakes from The Farmer’s Daughter Cupcakes. Kendall and Ronald ended the night with sky lanterns and a sparkler send-off. Their intimate, local wedding was glamorous and sophisticated.
