A Glamorous, Colorful Wedding at The Resort At Pelican Hill in Newport Coast, California

Brynne and Josh Beebee met in Mykonos, got engaged in Santorini and took their first holiday in Capri. It only made sense to bring their love of the Mediterranean to their wedding day. "We've always been obsessed with Mediterranean colors and vibes," Brynne says. "That means bougainvillea, lemon trees, and blue and white tiles were a must for our wedding." The invitation suite introduced the day's color palette of bright blues, oranges and pinks, shades of which also appeared in the flower arrangements. "We wanted vibrancy, color and 'fluffy' flowers full of texture," Brynne says. "We wanted to feel like, even though we were in California, we could actually be in Italy or in Greece." The ceremony took place beneath an attention-grabbing rotunda on the waterfront. Greenery and bougainvillea climbed around the sides, complementing the trees and colorful flowers lining the aisle. A seating chart map set against a wall of flowers and greenery led guests to their reception seats inside the hotel. "The space was stunningly decorated with candles, big bouquets of flowers and vases," Brynne says. "Lemon trees and foliage hung from the chandelier above the dance floor." As place settings and favors, the couple gave everyone mini limoncello bottles outfitted with calligraphed name tags. They also had a traditional cake cutting with a towering tiered dessert covered in pink flowers.
