A Glamorous, Classic Wedding at The Fox Hollow in Woodbury, New York

Lush florals and splashes of vintage charm brought Ari Fund (28 and an advertising account supervisor) and Nick Stelzner’s (30 and an equity research associate) enchanted wedding day to life.

“After visiting two other venues, Nick and I went to The Fox Hollow and immediately fell in love,” Ari says. “The Winter Garden Pavilion room was exactly what we wanted. With its mahogany bar, brick walls, fireplace and skylight ceiling, it feels so personal, like you’re in somebody’s home.”

Blooming pink and white peonies burst from Ari’s textured bridal bouquet.

Ari has two wedding bands: one engraved with “Buggy”—her nickname for Nick—and the other with their beloved Yorkie, Ellie’s, name.

“I feel like the bridesmaid dresses really set the tone for the rest of the wedding,” Ari says of the two different dresses she chose for her attendants. Four of the girls wore floral-printed dresses, while the other three donned one-shoulder lilac gowns that perfectly complemented the day’s florals.

Ari and Nick sipped from a hand-painted kiddush cup during their traditional Jewish wedding ceremony.

Having the ceremony and reception in the same location meant they didn’t have to worry about transportation. “The only ride we had to take was to our first look,” Ari says. “It was a really special ride for me—my mom drove me, just like she had to so many special events for the past 28 years.”

The couple had their first look at Old Westbury Gardens in nearby Westbury.
