Janice and David Gott tied the knot at the historic Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in Riverside, California, which has stunning Spanish-inspired architecture reminiscent of Europe. This old-world charm informed the wedding décor and festivities. Janice wore a classic ball gown paired with white heels and a down hairstyle, while David went with a traditional black tuxedo with an enlarged black velvet bow tie. The wedding party, dressed in black and holding white bouquets, added to the overall classic elegance. The religious ceremony took place inside the glamorous, gold-covered interior of St. Francis Chapel at the Mission. "We took communion privately with just each other up on the stage during the ceremony, which was such an emotional and personal moment," Janice says. "We then had our parents and grandmother come up and pray over our future. It reminded us that we are not in our marriage alone—we stand on the generational faithfulness of our families, who have been praying for our future and legacy before we were even born." For the reception, Janice, David and their guests celebrated in a large indoor space with gold accents, chandeliers and dramatic candelabras. "The room is so large, as it needed to seat 200 guests, so to dress it up, we wanted depth but also classic beauty," Janice says. Red garden roses appeared throughout the space, including on the tiered fondant wedding cake. The couple gifted traditional Spanish tiles as wedding favors.
