A Glamorous Barn Wedding at The Barns at Wesleyan Hills in Middletown, Connecticut
Alisha Pavacich (34 and an account executive) and Tory Fredericks (35 and in car sales) met in New York City when they were just 19 years old and attending college together. They had feelings for one another from the very beginning but kept each kept it to themselves until years later when they finally began dating long distance. On New Years Eve, in front of her parents and grandfather, Tory proposed with a ring he designed with her mom, set with the diamond from her grandmothers ring. The ceremony was held on the front lawn of The Barns at Wesleyan Hills. The expansive grounds wrapped around a large pound surrounded by weeping willows perfectly accenting the ivory sheath draped wedding arbor. The bride and grooms 3 month old daughter played the role of flower girl alongside bridesmaids in floor length dove gray gowns. The guests moved into the barn for the reception underneath an array of sparkling string lights. The decor featured romantic blush pinks and soft grays with personal inclusions of the couples life together. Homemade table numbers featured some of their favorite spots in New York City as well as the skyline since it was the city where they met and Tory's hometown. Guests were treated to a signature cocktail of spike strawberry lemonade and plenty of food including shorts ribs and mini tacos. All friends and family left the night with a miniature jam jar of custom made jam from a company based in Brooklyn, New York where Tory and his family are from.
