A Glam Winter Wedding at the Waldenwoods Center in Hartland, Michigan

After meeting at a Brighton bar in November of 2011, George (52 and a glazier) and Janice (46 and a housekeeper) fell into sync after he asked his future wife to dance. "We danced the entire night," Janice says. "Then on Sweetest Day two years later, he got down on one knee and proposed to me with a gorgeous Neil Lane engagement ring." For their winter wedding at the Waldenwoods Resort in Hartland, the couple knew they wanted a glam, art deco theme with plenty of bold embellishments -- including gold sequin tablecloths and ivory, DIY centerpieces. "I painted and decorated with feather and rhinestone accents for our cards and I designed our stationary myself," Janice explains. "The entire wedding reflected us as a couple and almost all of the decor was done and designed by ourselves. We chose every detail together and wanted it to be elegant and romantic, yet warm and welcoming."
