A Glam, Vintage-Inspired Winter Wedding at El Chorro in Paradise Valley, Arizona

El Chorro offers the best of Arizona: cacti, greenery and beautiful flowers, with views of the desert and surrounding mountains that are simply stunning. In addition, this venue in Paradise Valley, Arizona, has top-notch Southwestern cuisine. And since it’s in the desert, it was easy to have their winter wedding outside. That's why Gloria Rafeld (28 and a web designer) and Joshua Rafeld (33 and a manager) had their intimate wedding there. Gloria and Joshua brought old Hollywood glam to the desert with a palette of emerald and gold, along with vintage decor including skeleton keys, lanterns and old family photos. Sarah’s Garden created bouquets with a wintery feel to play up the season, which included lush, white garden roses, succulents, evergreen branches and hypericum berries. She also created a simple, natural wedding arch for Gloria and Joshua’s outdoor ceremony, complementing the natural space with birch wood with eucalyptus, evergreens, ivory garden roses and hypericum berries. A standout detail? Gloria’s wedding dress was exquisite: The vintage-inspired lace gown had illusion half-sleeves and a deep V-neck with a chapel-length train that embodied the elegant, old Hollywood glam theme.
