A Glam Summer Wedding at the Legacy Golf Club in Ottawa Lake, Michigan

For their early summer wedding, Stephanie and Darren planned an elegant affair with touches of glamour and vintage-inspired flair.

Taking advantage of the sunshine and warm weather, the couple hosted their “I dos” outdoors, exchanging vows under the quaint open-air chapel at the Legacy Golf Club in Ottawa Lake, Michigan. Black shepherd’s hooks bearing antiqued vases overflowing with white hydrangeas, pink roses and baby’s breath lined the aisle, while pretty pink rose petals added a note of romance and whimsy to the ceremony decor.

A tented reception followed, where panels of airy white fabric draped delicately across the ceiling and sparkling chandeliers set a glamorous tone for the decor. Sequined table linens and modern glass trumpet vases bearing full bouquets of hydrangeas and roses in shades of ivory, blush and vibrant pink continued the theme. For a touch of softness, vintage-inspired props were woven throughout, including travel cases and suitcases used as a card box, in addition to mercury glass and pewter accents.
