To celebrate their love and marriage, Quandra and Jonathan planned a glam silver-and-white ballroom wedding at the Conrad in Washington, D.C., complete with rooftop portraits with The Capitol in the background. Despite having to postpone their wedding day due to COVID, Quandra and Jonathan wanted to ensure their wedding celebration was as magical as they'd always hoped. To achieve this, they settled on a Vogue-inspired aesthetic with a color palette of white, silver and black with marble accents. "The decor was very edgy and modern and flowed perfectly with the venue," recalls Quandra.

Beyond just planning a beautiful and glam wedding, Quandra and Jonathan also wanted to ensure that the wedding felt personalized and unique. To honor Quandra's half-Nigerian heritage, she incorporated a traditional Nigerian dance during the reception with her family and new husband. To make the dance even sweeter, the dance floor was emblazoned with a custom monogram. The couple's monogram also graced their menus and other wedding signage.

Fashion was a key element to achieving their sleek, glam aesthetic for Quandra and Jonathan. Quandra shares that "putting together our wedding day looks was the easy part of planning for us. My fashion sense has always been chic, yet timeless. When selecting a wedding dress for the big day, I always wanted something that would make a statement while also being something I could look back at for years, with no regrets—something simple, yet elegant." Meanwhile, Jonathan, a huge James Bond fan, knew his look would be inspired by the very stylish Bond in Casino Royale. In the end, the couple's wedding day came together beautifully, despite their initial postponement. Looking back on the celebration, the couple emphasizes that other nearly newlyweds need to remember "it is your day! A day that goes by so quickly so do not let outside factors or people dictate what you all dream of."
