rn With a light-up dance floor, a hookah lounge and even a caricature artist, Tai Crater (33 and the director of risk finance and insurance) and Jacob Rutledge (25 and the director of Junior Academy soccer) took fabulous and fun to a new level. Needing a space that naturally catered to their vision, the couple chose 21c Museum Hotel Bentonville in Bentonville, Arkansas, for its perfect balance of contemporary and distinct style. The modern museum venue set the stage for cool light installations, ghost chairs and minimalist floral arrangements, not to mention the lounge atmosphere and hookah bar. Amanda Reed from Bates Events worked with Tai and Jacob to bring their blowout bash to life. One of our favorite parts was the half-groom, half-bride wedding cake. Instead of having a separate groom's cake, the couple split their five-tier confection in half. And check out that amazing hanging display instead of a traditional cake table. So cool! See all our favorite details from this glam modern wedding, beautifully captured by Photo Love, below.

Tai and Jacob wanted to set the tone early for their glamorous soiree. And they definitely did. With the help of Three Tea Design, the couple created navy, white and gold stationery complete with elegant script and pink accents.
Since Tai's favorite color is pink, she knew she had to have the romantic color in her wedding. Jules Design created this gorgeous, round pink peony, rose and ranunculus bouquet for her to carry down the aisle. It also matched the pink bridesmaid dresses, to tie the whole look together.
Tai wanted her leading ladies to feel comfortable and fabulous. The two bridesmaids wore matching strapless pink dresses, and her maid of honor wore a lighter shade of pink with cap sleeves. The bride loved how the whole look went together while her maid of honor still stood out.
Jacob donned a fabulous blue suit with a floral tie to add a little softness to his look. We love how he wasn't afraid to mismatch patterns and wear a blue polka-dot pocket square. So modern.
Tai and Jacob exchanged vows outside at Lawrence Plaza in Bentonville, Arkansas. They knew they wanted to get married outside, and it was the perfect spot, with 7,000 square feet of customizable space. Plus, it took only a minute to walk to 21c Museum Hotel Bentonville for the reception.
The groomsmen wore their own gray suits and brown shoes for the modern wedding. They added a little personality into their look with mismatched bow ties—too cute! We love that Jacob stood out from the men in his blue suit. The bridesmaids wore matching strapless floor-length pink dresses and the maid of honor donned a lighter shade.
"We selected 21c Museum Hotel Bentonville for our wedding because it had the perfect balance of modern and unique that we were looking for," Tai says. They set up a light-up dance floor in the center of the room and surrounded it white couches and long tables topped with towering centerpieces. It definitely catered to the upbeat dance party they were going for.
21c Museum Hotel Bentonville made the minimalist, modern details work for Tai and Jacob's wedding. The lounge atmosphere, hookah bar and cool light installations brought the glam, modern theme to life.
Tai and Jacob wanted their reception to be super fun and feel like a real celebration. Different hookah flavors were set up throughout the reception space for guests to enjoy throughout the night. It was a cool complement to the light-up dance floor inside. Talk about a party!
Instead of a traditional wedding cake table, Tai and Jacob's modern cake hung from the ceiling next to the dance floor. The minimalist setup was inspired by the contemporary art museum venue: 21c Museum Hotel Bentonville in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Instead of having two cakes—a wedding cake and a groom's cake—Tai and Jacob had one five-tier cake. Shelby Lynn's Cake Shoppe created the confection to be half groom's cake and half bride's cake. Sparkles and ruffles covered Tai's side, and Jacob's favorite soccer team, Chelsea, decorated his side.
Tai and Jacob changed outfits at the reception at 21c Museum Hotel Bentonville in Bentonville, Arkansas. Tai changed from her Swarovski crystal-adorned modified A-line gown into a sheath-style silk gown. Jacob switched from his blue suit into this burgundy one.
