“I remember when I first saw him; it was as if time briefly stopped,” Paula Panagouleas (34 and a law student) says of meeting Jason Miller (28 and a college professor) at a young professionals' networking event. Nine months later, Jason proposed at a local arboretum, and the two began planning their May nuptials with planners from Your Dream Day. As a nod to Paula’s Greek heritage, the pair wed in a traditional Greek Orthodox ceremony at a Dayton church, where Paula donned a classic Allure ball gown—the first of three dresses she’d wear throughout the night. A vibrant blue and gold scheme added a pop of color to Paula and Jason's tented reception, while crystal-draped centerpieces containing blue hydrangeas and white roses added an element of glamour. Guests sipped on signature cocktails dubbed the “Millagouleas”—a mash-up of the newlyweds’ last names—before indulging in treats that included Greek almond favors and a classic, six-tier cake topped with white peonies.
