A Glam, Formal Wedding at the Raddison Blu in Bloomington, Minnesota

Timeless black-and-white details, gilded flatware and all-white arrangements of orchids evoked a sense of classic, elegance for Kelsey Peyton (26 and a financial planner) and Matthew Feriancek’s (26 and a chiropractor) celebration.

In addition to beautiful blooms and an outstanding band, gold details were high on Kelsey’s must-have list. “I wanted to throw in a hint of gold, with yellow being my favorite color,” she says. Her bridesmaids wore strapless, floor-length gown, while all 10 groomsmen donned bow ties and black tuxes.

A custom logo bearing the couple’s initials covered everything from the dance floor and paper cocktail napkins to the monochromatic bar setup. For their first dance as newlyweds, the pair chose an acoustic version of Sam Smith’s “Latch.”

To honor the groom’s love of golf, Kelsey surprised Matthew with a custom, banana-cream-flavored groom’s cake shaped like a golf bag. “It was a replica of his Saint Mary’s University bag,” she says. Other treats included signature Moscow Mules and a traditional white cake filled with raspberry preserves.
