A Glam, Classic Wedding at The Country House in East Haven, Connecticut

Danica Bradshaw (26 and a transaction monitoring analyst) and Dueren Hamlet (35 and a parking garage attendant) went all-out glam for their “glitzy romance” design, filling their reception venue with shimmering sequined linens and rose-filled arrangements.

Three years after Danica and Dueren tied the knot in a secret civil ceremony, the couple invited 120 guests to celebrate their marriage with a second set of vows. “Our theme was inspired by my love for all things glitter,” Danica says of combining white and gold glitter to signify their union in lieu of sand. 

Rose gold bridesmaid dresses coordinated with each glittering tablescape. 

Sequined place mats marked each seat along with mini, glitter-covered bottles of sparkling wine. The couple’s four-tier confection was equally as glam as its surroundings, made of vanilla and chocolate cake filled with strawberry custard. “Only the top tier was real!” Danica says of the sweet treat.
