A Glam Beach Wedding at Loews Don CeSar Hotel in St. Pete Beach, Florida

Surf, sand and all-out glam were what Emma Perkins (31 and a student) and Sergio Ryland’s (34 and a technician) wedding was all about. The day started with a beautiful ceremony on the beach, crystal blue waters and a breathtaking sunset creating the ultimate backdrop for the couple’s intimate affair. Including their two children in the day’s proceedings was important to the couple, and the family of four performed a sand ceremony together after Emma and Sergio exchanged heartfelt vows. The newlyweds and their guests then headed to the South Terrace at the Loews Don CeSar in St. Pete Beach, Florida, for a lively night of good food, good music and lots of dancing. Playing up the waterfront locale was a given for the fun-loving couple and Emma and Sergio looked to a palette of brilliant beach-inspired hues, vibrant blooms and a mouthwatering menu brimming with freshly caught seafood to bring their vision to life. Details like shimmery silver table linens, rhinestone-studded escort cards and eye-catching invitations infused the day with a glamorous tone. Wanting the evening to reflect both of their backgrounds, the pair incorporated traditions like cake pulls and monograms (both nods to Emma’s Southern roots) and a money dance. Glow sticks, a fully stocked photo booth and even some singing kept guests entertained and having fun all night. “One of our favorite parts was our exit,” Emma says. “All our guests connected glow sticks together in a tunnel-like fashion, which Sergio and I ran through with great excitement.”
