A Glam Ballroom Wedding at Park Chateau Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick, New Jersey

Tina Kovar (31 and a loan processor) booked the Park Chateau Estate & Gardens for her wedding to Rod Streater (29 and an NFL wide receiver) when little more than a trailer marked the property. “I wanted a castle-like venue that captured the essence of romance,” Tina says. “Everyone thought I was crazy to pick a venue that wasn’t even built yet, but I’m glad I did.” French-inspired architecture and the garden grounds drew Tina to the Park Château Estate & Gardens. The California residents planned their black-tie event with elegance and glitz. Escort cards were displayed in a gold birdcage, and silk ribbon, feminine florals and blush notes filled the day. A floral watercolor pattern gave the suite a romantic twist.  The gold-filled reception included centerpieces of roses, lisianthus, hydrangeas and astilbe arranged in trumpet vases and a sprig of greenery at each place setting. Performers passed out balloons, glow sticks and light-up glasses to guests as fog from an LED robot filled the dance floor. One of Rod’s few requests, a chocolate fountain, even made an appearance at the reception.
