A Geometric-Inspired Beach Wedding at Sanderling Resort in Duck, North Carolina

Rebecca Ende (34) and Drew Lichtenberg (32) met at a theater performance, prompting them to host a modern beach fete filled with geometric patterns, succulents and gold accents. The couple's invitation suite helped inspire the wedding look, including structural design motifs and natural elements. To echo the laid-back beach vibe, Rebecca and Drew eschewed “a lot of traditional wedding pageantry.” Rebecca walked down the aisle to a Death Cab for Cutie song, while Drew’s father officiated their ceremony. The vows took place on a wood platform over a dune by the beach that included a custom-made hexagonal archway adorned with large white blooms. “We were going for something that felt natural to the landscape of the beach,” Rebecca says of the décor.
