Abbey LeBlanc (27, a pharmacist) and Adam Johnston (33, works in finance) met just three days before they graduated from the University of Florida. Their cruise ship proposal story was nothing short of memorable. “The deck was super windy and my hair was blowing in my face getting stuck in my sticky lip gloss,” says Abbey. “My earring fell out when he was trying to begin his speech about how lucky he is to have me. I didn't have a clue what was going on, but it ended up being beautiful and so exciting for us.” Abbey and Adam were wed nine months later under a romantic 300-year-old oak tree draped in Spanish moss at The Club Continental in Jacksonville, Florida. The pale blue, gray and lavender accented celebration was surrounded by lush greenery. As Abbey, Adam and their 95 guests entered the reception, each was met with a rustic silver and black seating chart. The room was decorated with white linens, tan fabric covered chairs and succulent centerpieces. All enjoyed a buffet dinner, DJ and wedding cake. “We had a blast dancing with all of our guests the whole night, it couldn't have been a more perfect day for us,” says Abbey.

Abbey chose a white lace accented Mori Lee wedding dress from Aurora Unique Bridal Boutique. She added a silver brooch to the bodice for a personal touch.
Abbey carried a bouquet of pale yellow garden roses, dusty miller and lavender accents. “I love dusty millers and definitely wanted them included in all of the bouquets, boutonnieres and arrangements,” says Abbey.
Each bridesmaid wore a floor-length sleeveless periwinkle dress with a lace detailed back.
Abbey’s Processional with Vine Backdrop
Abbey and Adam held their reception and traditional ceremony at the The Club Continental in Jacksonville, Florida. The enclosed ceremony was accented with ivy covered walls and a 300-year-old oak tree, which served as their backdrop.
Abbey and Alex’s guests found their seat on within a unique rustic gray and black seating chart.
Abbey and Alex’s centerpieces and flower arrangements were crafted by It’s All in the Details. Succulents and seeded eucalyptus were placed in breakaway vases on each reception table.
Abbey and Alex ensured that each of their guests left with a bag of their favorite treat, s’mores. “Our family slaved over creating the cute gifts," says Abbey.
While a sheet cake was used for serving, Abbey and Alex cut into a two-tier pale blue and ivory wedding cake. It was accented with a white cake flower and dusty miller. “I found a picture of a cake online and the cake vendor matched it exactly,” says Abbey.
The couple had a traditional guest book for their friends and family to sign. It was accented with a custom silver metal mailbox.
