A Garden-Style Rooftop Wedding at MyMoon Restaurant in New York, New York

Melissa Lucero (27 and a claim representative) and Jorge Perez (30 and a police officer) took “you do you” to an new level with their rooftop wedding at MyMoon Restaurant in New York, New York. Every detail, from their music to the colorful centerpieces and wedding cake topper, has us singing “I want it that way.” (Backstreet Boys anyone?) Their processional music especially caught our attention. Jorge and their wedding party walked past each row of wooden chairs to "My Everything" by 98 Degrees. Then Melissa followed suit to an acoustic version of Meghan Trainor's "Dear Future Husband," by Keiyana Osmond. Gotham Florist lined their way with bright, rose flower crowns, but these stunning blooms were nothing compared with their centerpieces. Each raw wood table popped with colorful orchids, roses and hydrangeas that overflowed from low vases. Melissa and Jorge didn’t stop there. The couple made a statement with an awe-worthy naked wedding cake. Playing off his role in the New York Police Department, they topped the confection with a Lego police officer, police car and female thief. Montenegro Photography captured every detail, below.
