A Fun, White Wedding at the Birchwood in St. Petersburg, Florida

While Florida’s unpredictable weather spread a few raindrops on their wedding day, Jennifer Fell (32 and a private risk adviser) and Travis Berry (42 and an attorney) took it in stride and had a fun all-white celebration filled with whimsical and natural details. “I'm attracted to clean lines and organic materials,” Jennifer says. The couple started their day with a traditional ceremony and spent the night dancing to the live band, Foreman's 5, at the Birchwood. Both locations were filled with all-white florals in eye-catching displays. ConceptBait, the couple’s florist, designed tall manzanita branches topped with white pomanders along the altar space. At the reception, lines of driftwood, white roses, white hydrangeas, succulents and moss covered each navy printed runner as candles surrounded the centerpieces. One detail stood out against the rest. Hands On Sweets added a modern take to Jennifer and Travis’s reception with a white and silver wedding cake. A fun chevron pattern covered the bottom tier, as the couple’s white monogram was placed against a bold silver background. A single white layer topped off the confection. Even after they finished the cake, the party was far from over. “We really wanted everyone to have a great time, so we focused on having great food, a great band, and top-shelf spirits,” Jennifer says. “We continued the celebration at the Birchwood's rooftop lounge, the Canopy, where we had reserved cabanas.” Limelight Photography beautifully captured these details and more, below.
