A Fun Wedding at the InterContinental Hotel in Tampa, Florida
Tia, an accountant, 32, and Richard, a director of sales, 33, were engaged for six months and planned each element of the wedding together. While the couple did not have a specific theme in mind for their wedding, they knew Malibu blue and chocolate brown would be their focal colors. After meeting with The Brides Bouquet, the couple decided on orange, coral and white flower arrangements for the wedding. Tia carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, tangerine roses and peach calla lilies. Her bouquet was complemented by Richard's peach calla lily and orange rose boutonniere as well as flower petals that lined the ceremony aisle in a similar color palette. The bridesmaids, dressed in Malibu blue dresses from David's Bridal, carried orange rose bouquets wrapped I blue and black ribbon. The groomsmen wore Calvin Klein tuxedos from Men's Wearhouse. Tia and Richard’s reception was filled with dancing guests and reflected the couple as a whole, says Tia. The party continued throughout the night. "After the garter/bouquet toss, speeches and cake cutting, Richard and our Best Man got the dancing started by sliding in on the dance floor to "Foot Loose!" It was a great night!" says Tia. Their overnight guests received welcome bags with various goodies and all were given chocolate filled boxes as wedding favors.
