A Fun Waterfront Wedding at Pierre’s Restaurant in Islamorada, Florida
Masha Grinberg (a membership director at Buro Miami) and Peter Macfarlane (an accountant supervisor at TEAM) met at work and Pete popped the question on their first dating anniversary. He proposed during breakfast that morning by giving Masha a new pair of sneakers that had the ring hidden inside. The couple spent six months of the next year planning their waterfront wedding together. When it came time to pick their venue, Masha and Pete chose a town filled with memories, Islamorada, Florida. The couple draped their once vacation spot with in shades of pink, coral, gold, white and gray. Masha and Pete said “I Do” under a grand white arch overlooking the Florida Bay. Decorated with draped white fabric, the couple added a whimsical touch of pink rhododendron and white hydrangea to each post. After the ceremony, Masha and Pete walked back down an aisle lined with potted pink rhododendron and silver lanterns at three different heights for their fun exit. They went around the bay in a unique boat from Nautilimo shaped like a car! The couple then joined their guests for an outdoor seated meal under string lighting. Each rustic family-style table was set with gold chargers, candles in clear glass candlesticks, bamboo chiavari chairs and lush arrangements of roses, garden roses, hydrangeas and orchids in their wedding colors. The couple complemented their sweetheart table with a vintage mint and white love seat.
