A Glamorous, DIY Wedding at Wedgewood Wedding & Banquet Center in Camarillo, California

Leticia Nolda (26 and an assistant manager) and Glen Nolda (27 and a mechanic) took the space at Wedgewood Wedding & Banquet Center at the Sterling Hills Golf Club in Camarillo, California, and created a glamorous wedding day using plenty of pink and sparkling accents. "I love sparkle, so everything had to have a hint of sparkle," Leticia says. Altar Image Photography captured the Easter wedding from the outdoor ceremony with a gazebo backdrop to the indoor reception. Leticia wore a strapless, A-line wedding dress from Pebbles Bridal in Woodland Hills, California with a sparkling, beaded belt. Her favorite element of her wedding attire, however, was the pair of shoes she wore! Leticia admits to not being a "heels girl," so she wore a pair of Vans --sparkling, silver sneakers with pink laces matching her bridesmaids, who wore similar pink and black Vans. "Glen let me run wild with the wedding planning," Leticia says. "I picked pink and black as our colors because pink is my favorite color and black is one of his." Centerpieces included bright pink and white floral arrangements of gerbera daisies, carnations, hydrangeas and, Leticia's favorite flower, lilies. Keeping with the glamorous elements, table numbers were mason jars with candles and rhinestone beading. Since Leticia and Glen's wedding took place on Easter Sunday, they wanted to incorporate the holiday into their wedding day. Acting as escort cards and wedding favors, they filled mason jars with pink Easter grass and chocolate candies that looked like small Easter eggs and wrote guests' names and their table numbers on the lids of the jars. Leticia credits her sister, who acted as her wedding planner, for helping create her perfect wedding. "For all the future couples, just make sure that you have a good wedding planner," she says. "My sister was my wedding planner and everything happened because of her."
