This wedding puts a twist on garden style that we didn't expect. Juliet Faulkner (37 and a lawyer) and Grant Perry (41 and in medical device sales) had two specific goals for their nuptials: make sure every guest had fun and that the decor fit the couple's chic tastes. “We wanted the wedding to feel like a party, with bright colors that maintained a classic style,” Juliet says. Brian Kappra from Evantine Designs (their planner, florist, rental pros and stationers) made sure every detail was on point. The Quaker ceremony alone had an elaborate Jewish chuppah covered in greenery and white hydrangeas. Every flower only highlighted the natural courtyard at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. But this was nothing compared with their reception. The ballroom's entrance captured their classic style with a personalized vintage-inspired sign of a dancing couple. Inside, 230 guests were greeted with tons of bright hues—from the glitzy gold linens and the tablescapes of fuchsia, eggplant and white orchids to the pink uplighting that bounced off their lucite chairs. Even more, Juliet and Grant made their grand entrance to “Crazy Train” by Ozzy Osbourne to get the party started. See all our favorite details, beautifully captured by Liz Banfield, below.

Elegant Navy and White Invitation
Juliet and Grant's Quaker ceremony mixed multiple traditions, including personalized vows and this incredible garden-style Jewish chuppah. The planners and florists at Evantine Designs crafted their chuppah with tons of greenery, branches, amaranthus, eucalyptus and bunches of white hydrangeas. Each piece of greenery overflowed from the structure, making it feel like a natural part of the courtyard at Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
With three of her four bridesmaids about to have babies up to 10 days before her wedding, Juliet knew she wanted the women to pick out their own looks. Each chose a formal, different-style, floor-length tulle dress by Monique Lhuillier. Fitted mermaid-style, trumpet-style and one-shoulder sheath dresses were all part of the mix and looked great together.

Juliet and Grant were set on having their natural, outdoor wedding in Center City, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Once they found the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia, they fell in love with the courtyard and took advantage of every green space. Rows of about 230 white chairs covered the lawn while surrounding trees gave them a nice shade from the sun. Juliet and Grant even had this incredible greenery and white hydrangea-covered chuppah to match the courtyard.

Her hairstyle was picked specifically to show off the keyhole back on her Rivini wedding dress. The team at Salon D’JenElle placed it in a sophisticated updo. Then Cheekadee Makeup Artists finished things off with a classic look. Juliet couldn't have been happier with the outcome. “Cheekadee makeup was unbelievable, and Lisa from Salon D’Jenelle was outstanding,” she says.

Grant’s daughters definitely stood out among the wedding party. They wore navy, just like the bridesmaids, but in a completely different style. Each girl wore a knee-length look by US Angels with a ruffled collar, slight pleating along the skirt and a blue flower detail at the waist.

Wanting their vanilla confection to have a simple design, they worked with the team and Ann’s Cake Pan and picked out a classic ivory buttercream wedding cake covered in piped Swiss dots. Fresh fuchsia and white orchids as well as dusty miller also topped every other tier. But what made the cake extra-personal was the topper; this and groom figurines were also used in Grant's parents' wedding.
