A Fun Fuchsia Wedding at Yacht Club at Marina Shores in Virginia Beach, Virginia

Tiffany Boada (29 and a registered nurse) and Aaron Boada's (34 and a developer) wedding was inspired by Tiffany's favorite flowers, green cymbidium orchids with bright fuchsia centers. As a result, they chose a nontraditional palette of green and fuchsia to decorate their venue, the Yacht Club at Marina Shores in Virginia Beach, Virginia. At the ceremony, which took place on a covered deck, chairs on the aisle were tied with fuchsia sashes and arrangements of calla lilies, viburnum and gerbera daisies. The aisle itself was lined with rose petals and above, Tiffany and Aaron hung colorful paper lanterns for a whimsical touch. The indoor reception featured purple uplighting that highlighted all the vibrant details on the dining tables, from the fuchsia linens to the fruit-filled centerpieces. To glam up the tablescapes, the couple surrounded the centerpieces with tall crystal votive candleholders and tied fuchsia sashes to the reception chairs with crystal brooches. The wedding party matched the decor, with the bridesmaids in fuchsia dresses and black sashes and the maid of honor in black with a fuchsia sash. Members of the bridal party carried vivid bouquets of gerbera daisies, chrysanthemums and bells of Ireland. Tiffany herself wore a showstopping ball gown with a ruffled skirt and embellished sash.
