A Fun, Elegant Wedding at the Quicksilver Golf Club in McDonald, Pennsylvania

Sheryl Voloskie (23, systems analyst) and Ricky Stuckwish (28, IT engineer) met while they were both working at a local pizza shop. Sheryl manned the phones and Ricky was the delivery boy. Their first date was to a Pittsburgh Penguins game. They dated for a few years before Ricky proposed to Sheryl while walking their dog down a local trail on a beautiful fall day with a tension setting ring. The couple decided to get married at the Quicksilver Golf Club because it was equidistant from both of their hometowns and offered a beautiful backdrop for the outdoor ceremony. The color palette for their wedding was red and black, because red is Ricky's favorite color and black went well with it. Flower arrangements were provided by Sheryl's stepmom and included white and red roses. The wedding arch under which Sheryl and Ricky were married was decorated by Ricky's mother with red, black and white fabric and red roses. Sheryl wore a strapless trumpet style wedding dress with a sweetheart neckline, lace appliques and a ruffled skirt. Ricky and the groomsmen wore black tuxedos with red vests, black and red striped ties and red rose boutonnieres. The bridesmaids wore knee length, strapless satin dresses with cummerbund waists in siren red. Bouquets consisted of red roses with crystal embellishments. Guests were provided with bubbles to blow during the recessional. They were also given small boxes of Hershey's Kisses tagged with the couple's name and wedding date as favors. The beautiful tiered wedding cake was ivory with fondant and red ribbon decorations. Sheryl and Ricky's golf club wedding was elegant and fun.
