A Fun, Colorful Wedding at Rocketown in Nashville, Tennessee
Who said a wedding on a budget can't be colorful? Mallory Phillips (26 and an advertising account supervisor) and Corey Bradley (27 and a pharmacist) had a whimsical wedding at the Rocketown concert space in Nashville, Tennessee. "I love that our venue wasn't a typical wedding space, and Rocketown just seemed to fit our personality," Mallory says. Mallory and Corey's wedding was full of quirky DIY decor, and their unique sense of style was perfectly captured by Frozen Exposure Photography. Their fun, eclectic wedding design was inspired by Mallory's favorite quote, "She who leaves a trail of glitter is never forgotten." Vibrant paper lanterns of different shapes and sizes were strung from the ceiling as the couple exchanged their vows in front of a glimmering white backdrop. At cocktail hour, guests munched on popcorn from the movie theater where Mallory had her first job. Centerpieces on the farmhouse dining tables consisted of jewel-toned flowers from Shelia Hines Floral Design arranged in vases Mallory collected from her local thrift store. As favors, the newlyweds gave their guests dance party props including sunglasses, shutter shades, glow sticks and flip-flops. "Something about wearing sunglasses inside makes people dance like no one is watching," Mallory says. "We wanted our guests to have fun and get the party started!"
