A Fun Colorful Wedding at Fort Lauderdale Marriott Coral Springs Hotel, Golf Club & Convention Center in Coral Springs, Florida

After speaking for several months, Carolina Labi (a project manager and web developer) and Stephen Shultz (an art director) met in the Boston Public Garden and later became engaged. The couple worked with JM Event Productions Worldwide as well as Ms. Wedding Planner for 10 months to plan a blue, pink and orange wedding in Carolina’s hometown: Coral Springs, Florida. “From the beginning, we wanted our wedding to be bright and full of color,” says Carolina. The couple’s indoor ceremony was decorated with a white aisle runner, white fabric-covered chairs and a bamboo wedding arch topped with white roses and hydrangeas. After Carolina and Stephen exchanged vows, their 140 guests went into the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Coral Springs Hotel’s ballroom and found their seats listed among fresh oranges. Orange, pink, blue and white paper lanterns were hung overhead as round tables were placed around the room. Each was topped with blue or pink linens and a variety of low floral centerpieces. The couple served a barbecue buffet before treating their guests to tiers of vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, an ice cream sundae bar and a single-tier wedding cake topped with pink and blue robots. Carolina and Stephen spent their reception dancing with guests and enjoying late-night pizza. For a personal touch, the couple ended their celebration by taking a group photo inspired by the last scene of the movie “The Avengers.” Each guest left the reception with a U.S. president-inspired wedding favor filled with chocolate.
