A Fun, Classic Wedding at George Washington Hotel in Winchester, Virginia

Selah Mun (29 and a consultant) and Adam Rhodes (28 and works in the government) met while working in the same office. Adam invited Selah to join the office water club so he could learn her name and Selah used the excuse of talking college sports to flirt with Adam. On a snowy day in Virginia, after the couple had been dating for a while, Adam learned Selah had never sledded before in her life. He took her to go sledding with him at the local golf course. At the 8th hole, he proposed to Selah in the winter wonderland. Selah and Adam had a beautiful, classic wedding in the ballroom at the George Washington Hotel in Winchester, Virginia. Their traditional ceremony took place at the nearby historic First Baptist Church. With a color palette of navy, champagne, gray and mint, their wedding decor was personal and fun. Dining tables were named after their favorite locations and as favors, guests received blue and mint tees as a nod to the couple's proposal story. Instead of a guest book, guests were invited to sign a map and play a collective game of Scrabble with wedding-related phrases. Selah and Adam's family and friends celebrated their love by dancing to a playlist of their favorite love songs and feasting on a lavender and lemon buttercream wedding cake.
