Chelsea Tucker (a dentist) and Steven (Steve) Farrell (a respiratory therapist) first met while working at a restaurant in Gainesville, Florida, and became engaged on her birthday. Steve popped the question at sunset on the Southernmost Hotel’s dock in Key West, Florida. The couple spent their next 14 months working with Table 6 Productions to plan their wedding. “We wanted an outdoor beach wedding with a bit of a rustic feel,” says Chelsea. With this in mind, they chose the Postcard Inn On the Beach in St. Pete Beach, Florida, as their venue. “We loved the laid back atmosphere that PCI provided,” she says. A blush, mint green and gold color palette decorated the space. Chelsea and Steve's beach ceremony aisle was decorated with hanging arrangements of white roses and pink?baby’s breath inside mason jars. Pink hydrangeas and baby’s breath accented their bamboo wedding arch. After Chelsea and Steve said their vows, 100 guests threw colorful beach balls in celebration. All then moved toward the resort for a fun cocktail hour complete with lawn games, lamb lollipops and bacon wrapped scallops and an acoustic guitarist for live entertainment. During the reception, Chelsea and Steve treated their guests to a three-tiered green ombre wedding cake topped with two kissing frogs as DJs from Grant Hemmond and Associates Inc. played in the background. “We had about 100 light up foam sticks for people to dance with. That was really instrumental in getting everyone on the dance floor,” says Chelsea. The couple spent the rest of their night dancing with friends and family members before taking a festive sparkler exit.

“The flowers absolutely brought the whole wedding together,” says Chelsea. She carried a bouquet of white tulips, blush roses, blush peonies, yellow orchids, white roses and red hypericum berries down the aisle. It was arranged by Redman Steele Floral Design Studio.
Each bridesmaid paired her blush floor-length dress with yellow crochet barefoot sandals during the ceremony. Chelsea complemented them with mint barefoot sandals from J. Crew.

Chelsea’s bridesmaids wore floor-length blush dresses with a sweetheart neckline. During the reception, each woman paired the dress with neutral shoes.
The couple gave their guests custom sunglasses and fan programs for the beach ceremony. The sunglasses were engraved with the words "don't be blinded by our love," says Chelsea.
