A Fun, Bright Wedding at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida

While Stephanie Lanoue (25 and a respiratory therapist) and Richard Meyer (26 and a firefighter) had a fall wedding, the bright red and orange accents against their otherwise all-white decor made it feel like summer. Limelight Photography documented every detail of the day, which started with a white tented ceremony and ended in a fun indoor reception at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. “The hotel was so elegant, it took my breath away,” Stephanie says. Flowers By Lesley helped Stephanie and Ricky add a pop of color to their day with eye-catching florals throughout their wedding. Red, yellow and orange flower petals lined the all-white aisle as two arrangements of red roses, orange roses, green chrysanthemums and white hydrangeas were placed on tall white stands. The couple’s florist also designed a bright bouquet of red roses, red calla lilies, orange orchids and green hydrangeas for Stephanie. Each bright plume complemented her white mermaid wedding dress. Inside the reception, round tables were met with eye-catching floating arrangements of red calla lilies for a classic touch against the white linens and black runners. Another notable detail was the couple’s dessert display. Two flavors of black-and-white cupcakes topped with cookies were placed on four square, white tiers. A single-layer white carrot cake was placed on the final tier. It was accented with a fun piped design and an “M” topper to represent the couple's last name. Stephanie shares a tip: “Take many moments and soak it all in; it really does fly by. If your budget permits, get a videographer.”
