A Fuchsia and White Tented Wedding at Lanikuhonua in Kapolei, Hawaii

Shannon Watkins (31 and a dermatologist) and Neelesh Chudasama (30 and a cardiologist) became friends quickly while they were both attending medical school. By the time they graduated, Shannon and Neelesh discovered their feelings for each other and began to date. On Christmas Eve, Neelesh gave Shannon one of her Christmas gifts. When Shannon opened it, it looked like just an old computer battery box. However, Neelesh got down on one knee and opened the box to reveal a diamond ring. The couple had their wedding at Lanikuhonua in Kapolei, Hawaii, where royalty used to vacation to in the summertime. The elegant wedding was decorated in white and fuchsia flowers with yellow accents throughout the venue. Shannon walked down the aisle wearing a strapless ivory wedding dress with a full tulle skirt designed by Pronovias. Shannon carried a light pink and fuchsia bouquet filled with roses, carnations and gloriosa lilies. For the wedding party, the groomsmen wore suspenders and pink ties with khakis while the bridesmaids wore fuchsia dresses designed by Alfred Sung. Guests took home boxes of shortbread cookies dipped in chocolate as wedding favors from the Honolulu Cookie Company, along with goodie bags that were filled with an assortment of desserts to pick from!
