A Fuchsia and Navy Wedding at The Palmer Building in Charlotte, North Carolina

Sonia Balekdjian (32 and a Medicare operations manager) and Adam Wood (35 and a superintendent) added a pop of color to their classic aesthetic by working with a vibrant palette of blue, fuchsia and silver for their spring wedding at The Palmer Building in Charlotte, North Carolina. The venue's exposed-brick walls and stone exterior added a rustic vibe, while bouquets of fuchsia gerber daisies, white hydrangeas and roses with silver accents created a contemporary feel. For the table decor, Sonia and Adam had both lantern centerpieces surrounded by flower rings, and submerged gerber daisies in vases with floating candles. Since Sonia's parents had passed away and her grandmother was unable to attend their wedding due to health reasons, the bride was surrounded by love and support from Adam's family during their outdoor ceremony. "Adam's dad walked me down the aisle and was very emotional about giving me away on behalf of my parents," says Sonia. "Adam's family has taken me in with open arms, and I finally feel like I have a family again."
