A Frozen-Inspired Winter Wedding at Belsolda Farm in Marquette, Michigan

Did somebody say, "Disney?" High school sweethearts KC Misterly (25 and a secretary) and Jared Mottes (26 and a store manager) had a Frozen-inspired wedding at Belsolda Farm in Marquette, Michigan. "We had been planning the wedding for two months and I was having a hard time verbalizing what I wanted to accomplish," KC says. "After watching the movie for the first time, I realized I had accidentally been planning a Frozen-themed wedding the whole time!" The theme was fitting, as KC used to be a Disney World cast member. With a color palette of silver blue and white, KC and Jared converted the bar at Belsolda Farm into a winter wonderland. Their magical wedding was captured by Daniele Carol Photography. Their venue twinkled with fairy lights strung across the ceiling and a stunning fairy light curtain draped with translucent fabric that was the backdrop for the head table. Icy blue linens lined the dining tables, which had silver lanterns as their centerpieces and snowflake signs as their table numbers. But Frozen wasn't the only Disney movie to get a shoutout at this wedding. KC wore custom shoes that were painted with scenes from her favorite Disney movie, The Little Mermaid. She also wore the Cinderella ball gown from the Alfred Angelo Disney Collection. "We didn't want the theme to be overwhelming, so we kept things simple," KC says. "Our main focus was showing our guests how important they were to us."
