Justine Garafalo (25 and a nurse) and Chris Gagnon (42 and also a nurse) met while working at the Baltimore Children’s Hospital. Chris proposed with a cushion cut diamond ring at an overlook in Great Falls Park, Virginia. They chose to get married at the Running Hare Vineyard in Prince Frederick, Maryland. "I had visited the vineyard early in our relationship and I always joked that I would get married there someday because it was so breathtakingly beautiful," says Justine. "When the time came, Chris and I visited it together and it just clicked. It was perfect." Chris and Justine wanted to have an elegant, understated garden party, so they chose to use cream, peach and light green in their wedding. They held their ceremony outdoors in the vineyard, so their programs doubled as fans for guests to use on that warm, summer day. They also gave their  guests customized koozies for their drinks. Wedding flowers included white and peach hydrangeas, pale pink miniature roses, Queen Anne's lace and pink and white lisianthus blooms. The wedding had many chalkboard details, from the seating chart to the table numbers and the menu. In lieu of favors, Chris and Justine gave a charitable donation to Give Kids the World, a foundation that helps children with life-threatening illnesses have memorable experiences at Florida attractions. The cause is close to the couple's hearts because their nephew was invited to stay with Give Kids the World as a part of his Make-A-Wish trip. Chris and Justine's vineyard wedding was pretty in peach and pink, and the personal touches were considerate and heartwarming.

Justine's engagement ring was a cushion cut diamond with a pave diamond halo in addition to a pave diamond band.
